Who We Are

Phil Badcott (Director of Kestrel Training and Management Solutions)

Phil is a professionally qualified manager and leader with many years experience in this role with an international company and a training provider.

He has a track record of taking under performing groups and transforming them into effective teams. His experience includes managing and leading staff and teams, process management, quality assurance, continuous improvement, business planning and Business Excellence (EFQM).

Phil has developed and delivered multi site projects throughout his career. He did this for BT and more recently for the Learning and Skills Network (LSN) where he was responsible for delivering a programme of professional development for LSN consultants in the South West Region and for fostering team working.

He is a respected trainer and consultant and works with a number of UK agencies and local authorities.

Phil has a MEd in Learning and Development and a Post Graduate Certificate in Management. He is a Fellow of the Institute for Learning and a Member of the Chartered Management Institute.

Angela Clinch (associate)

Angela is an experienced trainer and consultant and enjoys facilitating and working alongside people at all levels in organisations. She currently works as an independent Equality and Diversity consultant, and as a facilitator.

The main strands of her career are teaching and training, career development, developing and managing projects and strategic development.

She has experience of working in a variety of cross sector partnerships and with statutory and voluntary sector organisations

Angela has a PhD in Oral literature, holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, a certificate in Facilitation and is an NLP Master Practitioner

Debbie Croft (associate)

Debbie is an experienced Early Years manager and practitioner and has recently become an Early Years Professional. She has worked in the Care industry and in Early Years as a Sure Start Co-ordinator and Pre-School manager.

She is passionate about learning and is an NVQ assessor and tutor in Early Years. Debbie will graduate with the Diploma in Teaching in the Life Long Learning Sector qualification next year.

Debbie holds a BA in Early Childhood Studies and is an Associate Member of the Institute for Learning.
